Which are the best fruits for diabetes? This is the common question which arises in the minds of the diabetics as many of them believe that they can’t eat fruits as all fruits contain high sugar content. But, there are lots of healthy fruits for diabetics which do not increase the blood glucose level and these fruits for diabetics could be said to be best fruits for diabetics.

Avocados

  • brown rice 2 cups
  • one chopped bitter gourd
  • one medium chopped onion
  • three medium chopped garlic
  • two teaspoons Klauss oil
  • One teaspoons cumin seeds
  • Two medium red chili
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onions and then fry them for a few minutes
  • Put some garlic cloves and red chili to it. Mix fry them well
  • Add bitter gourd and fry for few minutes until slightly tender
  • Finally, add pinch of salt for taste and sought for a few minutes
  • Add cooked rice to this and mix well, simmer until heated through; turn off the flame
  • Garnish with coriander leaves

Diabetes patients can eat this bitter gourd rice as main meal. You can add this in regular diet and get rid from diabetes.

Bitter gourd salad for diabetes

For this healthy salad, we need a normal size bitter gourd and a cucumber. Wash and cut the edge off for both bitter gourd and cucumber. Grate the cucumber with peel to get one cup filled. Cut the bitter gourd lengthwise and scoop out the center. Now grate the outer thick ring to get one cup and put it into  mixing bowl. Add a pinch of salt for taste and squeeze some lemon juice. Stir gently till it is evenly mixed. Add the salad for your regular diet and eat regularly to cure diabetes completely.
